Begin with yourself and include YOUR FULL NAME together with DATE and CITY OF BIRTH. If you are married include your SPOUSES FULL NAME and DATE and CITY OF BIRTH. Also include your marriage DATE and CITY OF MARRIAGE. It is optional to include your SPOUSES PARENTS FULL NAMES including your spouses MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME. Their dates are not necessary.

Now do the same for your parents noting their FULL NAMES, along with their DATE and CITY OF BIRTH.

Next complete the same information for your grandparents of your Hatzenbühler
lineage. Again, include their FULL NAMES together with DATES and CITIES OF BIRTH.

Continue to go back into your genealogy until you've hooked into your Hatzenbühler    ancestor. For some individuals this might be their grandparents, for others it might be their 3rd great grandparents. Moreover, it might be on your paternal side (father) or it might be on your maternal side (mother). Each person will uniquely fit into this family genealogy.  As with all of the individuals above be sure to include all of your ancestors FULL NAMES together with their DATES and CITIES OF BIRTH as well as their DATE and CITY OF MARRIAGE if applicable.

If you have children complete their information using the same format of FULL NAME, DATE and CITY OF BIRTH. If your children are married and have children use the same methods as described above.

At this time I do have a fairly extensive data base and should be able to locate where you fit into the broader Hatzenbühler genealogy without too much problem. Attempt to record accurately the EXACT CITY of BIRTHS and MARRIAGES. In other words, if someone is born in Littleton, Colorado it wouldn't be accurate to say they were born in Denver even though Littleton is a suburb of the greater Denver area. In the event someone is born in a rural area use the township, village or county that they were born in. Please email me with any questions you may have at:  HatzGenealogy@aol.com

What Data Do I Need to Send to Add Our Family Names to the Hatzenbühler Book?
The easiest method is to start with yourself. From there it is quite simple to expand both backwards into your ancesty and forward into your descendants. As stated in the FAQ section of this web site, each person will appear a minimum of twice in the book. Once in a descendant tree and the other in an ancestry report. Below are examples of how each of these appears. Keep in mind that the real ancestry report will link you back to the 17th or 18th century and contain hundreds of pages following each family line. It should be noted that if you would like your spouses parents included in the ancestry report (as displayed below) please indicate their full names (maiden name for the female). Once again I've used my own marriages and children in the examples below.
Jeffrey Scott Hatzenbeller was born August 8, 1959 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, USA. He married (1) Carol Ann Soltys September 11, 1981 in New Hope, Minnesota, daughter of John Soltys and Susan Pasicznyk. He married (2) Lisa Kay Schneiderhan April 12, 1997 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, daughter of John Schneiderhan and Mary Lou Magnon.

Children of Jeffrey Scott Hatzenbeller and Carol Ann Soltys are:
1. Braden John Robert Hatzenbeller B: November 3, 1982 in Minneapolis, Minnesota
2. Dustin Matthew Hatzenbeller B: October 6, 1984 in Fridley, Minnesota
3. Nathan Thomas Hatzenbeller B: May 18, 1987 in Fridley, Minnesota

Children of Jeffrey Hatzenbeller and Lisa Kay Schneiderhan are:
4. Ashley Brooke Hatzenbeller B: April 7, 1996 in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota
5. Logan Michael Hatzenbeller B: January 16, 2000 in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota
Hatzenbühler Ancestry Report

Aberdeen, South Dakota
Laurel Ann Costello

Jeffrey Scott Hatzenbeller
